- To be able to guarantee the consumer that he buys parquet flooring produced from well managed forests, DESIGN PARQUET obtained FSC TM certification (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes), with responsible forest management approach.
- DESIGN PARQUET has invested in new coating technology thus reducing the VOC emanation (Volatil Organic Compound).
- DESIGN PARQUET supports and motivates its suppliers to develop non-polluting products by letting them carry out tests on their production lines.
- DESIGN PARQUET has been sorting its waste for several years which increases its appreciation.
- DESIGN PARQUET has also invested in a storage building of 3000 sq.m classified HQE (High Environmental Quality).
- DESIGN PARQUET signed EDF (French Electricity Board) a contract named “équilibre+”, in return EDF participates in the financing of the CISEL project (photovoltaic energy development).
