Wood hardness

It is important to know the hardness of the wood with which your parquet is made. It allows you to select the floor in appliance with the room’s environment to be equipped. The Brinell hardness is measured with the depth of an imprint made by a diameter steel ball in the wood. The higher the number, the harder the wood is.

Hardness of the main species (Brinell hardness):
